미국 실리콘밸리 기업을 대상으로 실시하는 재직자 회사 추천도(NPS; Net Promoter Score) 올해 조사 결과가 25일 발표됐다. 올해 재직자 평판 1위는 모바일 결제 시스템사 스퀘어였다.
압도적 1위 … 마이크로소프트·페이스북 순위권
총 50대 미국 기업을 대상으로 한 올해 조사에서 스퀘어는 79점이라는 압도적인 점수로 1위를 차지했다. 스퀘어는 트위터 창업자로 잘 알려진 잭 도시(Jack Patrick Dorsey)가 2009년 설립한 모바일 기반 결제 시스템 회사다.
그 외 올해 상위권에 이름을 올린 회사는 △아틀라시안 △넷플릭스 △구글 △마이크로소프트 △인디드 △페이스북 등이 있었다.
1위 배경엔 ‘재직자 중심 기업문화’
구글, 마이크로소프트, 페이스북을 제친 스퀘어는 올해 워라밸과 기업 문화 부문에서 특히 높은 평가를 받았다. 기업 인사이트 플랫폼 블라인드 허브에서는 ‘재직자들을 먼저 생각하는 회사’, ‘직원들의 성장에 투자하는 회사’라는 재직자 평을 확인할 수 있다.
한편 미국 통신사 블룸버그는 재직자 추천 지수 최상위 기업에 2년 연속 이름을 올렸다. 올해 블룸버그 창업자 마이클 블룸버그(Michael Rubens Bloomberg)가 미국 대선 민주당 경선에서 자신의 리더십을 증명하는 자료로 재직자 평가를 인용하기도 했다.
본 조사는 기업문화 인사이트 플랫폼 블라인드 허브가 당해 연도의 회사별 재직자 회사 추천도(NPS; Net Promoter Score)를 집계해 발표한 결과다. NPS란 컨설팅펌 바인앤 컴퍼니가 고객 충성도를 측정하기 위해 개발한 것으로, 실리콘밸리에서 고객의 제품 만족도를 측정할 때 보편적으로 사용하는 지표다.
